This geological wonder sits on the U.S. and Canada border. Aside from the stunning view, here's why you should visit the second largest waterfall in the world.
City
This gorgeous city includes 3 different waterfalls, Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and the Bridal Veil Falls, together known as Niagara Falls. If you stand right by the cliff of the waterfall, you can feel it sprinkling because of the water’s pressure. So far, I have been three times and within a 4 year gap, the city has expanded greatly with new businesses and attractions.
Plan for a weekend or two-day stay. The best time to go is in the late spring/summer where everything has bloomed and the weather is perfect. I would visit the Falls on the Canadian side because of the view. You should also visit Toronto, which is about an hour and 15 minutes away!
On top of the waterfalls, the botanical gardens are amazing. You can read in the Oakes Garden Theatre or just relax in the Queen Victoria park and enjoy the view. Make sure you have enough storage and a portable charger for your phone because you’re gonna want to take lots of pictures!

Restaurants
Niagara Falls has a wide variety of places to dine at. They have the typical fast food chains such as Wendy’s and Burger king. In addition, Hard Rock Cafe, Rainforest cafe, and sports bars are easy to spot on the main strip of the city. For the ultimate viewing experience, the Skylon Tower has a revolving dining room. Beware of the tourist tax. If you are traveling on a budget, you could have a beautiful picnic in the Falls’ parks and then have dinner at a restaurant.
Have a great time when visiting!
